Cancellation Policy
Our office philosophy of mutual consideration and friendship is extended to our appointment schedule. We ask for mutual respect for each other’s time commitments.
Our office does it’s very best to see each patient in a timely manner once they arrive.
This is accomplished by only booking one patient per appointment. You will notice when you arrive in our office, you will not be asked to “sign-in.”
Appointments are scheduled in as few, well-planned visits as necessary. There is usually little overlap time in appointment scheduling. If you call and cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, it is extremely difficult to fill that appointment time with another patient. Consequently, if your appointment time cannot be filled, the time period becomes non-productive and results in increased costs to our office. These costs are passed onto the canceling patient.
We understand that occasionally last minute cancellations are unavoidable. Please help us and all patients by being considerate and giving our office adequate notice, giving us an opportunity to schedule someone else requiring our services.
Because our office philosophy is based upon mutual consideration and because we only schedule one patient for each appointment, broken appointments are not compatible with our office values. When there is a pattern of multiple broken appointments, we feel that another office with a more compatible schedule can better serve this patient.
